Every Success Series kit is made with Micro-Cut quality wood that has been carefully inspected, graded, and cut to ensure a perfect fit. The parts are all packed in individual plastic bags, and every kit comes with a step-by-step fully illustrated construction manual.
Apprentice Series model boat kits
Midwest Apprentice Series kits have been designed for the person who has no prior experience building wooden boat kits and therefore make great first time projects for anybody who wants the joy of constructing a beautiful object from a great marine tradition. These are COMPLETE kits, including many pre-cut parts plus a complete fittings set.

Apprentice kits come in 4 skill levels:
Level 1. No prior building experience required.
Level 2. Experience in cutting and fitting parts required.
Level 3. Experience in shaping and fabricating parts required.
Level 4. For experienced modellers.
